Folds, glare, perspective, fading and background objects can make a real flag photograph look very different from a clean reference image. If the first results are weak, crop tightly around the flag or isolate a distinctive emblem, badge or pattern and search again.

No. Results depend on whether a useful visual reference exists in the current index and whether the uploaded image contains enough recognisable detail. Treat ranked matches as identification leads to verify, not automatic proof.
What kind of image can I upload?
A photograph, screenshot or scan can work. A tighter crop around the flag usually gives the search engine less irrelevant background to compare.
What if I only have part of the flag?
Search the visible part, especially if it contains a distinctive emblem, badge, canton or colour arrangement.
